Decorative overlays and micro-toppings are ideal for masking flaws in existing concrete floors. Some uses are to cover stains and to mend hairline cracks, which allow you to start with a clean canvas. In addition to being applied over concrete, overlays can be applied over other sound floor surfaces such as wood, vinyl tile, and linoleum.
